It was so lovely to once again be able to celebrate the significant men in the lives of our students at our Father's Breakfast, following a two year hiatus due to COVID. March 22, 2022Tui Team Market Day
This term students in the Tui Team have collaborated in small groups to select a charity, research it, build a website about it and then go about doing some fundraising. What amazing creativity, resilience and collaboration was shown throughout this process, which culminated in a Market Day. The whole school got behind this event, buying Market Day dollars to spend at all the stalls. The Tui Team raised an amazing $3500 for their charities! Doing Good because Good is Good to Do!...

Our annual Athletics Day is a whole school event held at Massey Park in Papakura, where students compete in a range of events made possible by taking place at a purpose built facility. This year, despite a less than ideal weather forecast, the day was perfect and all ran smoothly (no pun intended). Our "Fathers" Breakfast for significant males in our students' lives, has become a regular feature of the Reremoana School Calendar. It is an opportunity for 'Dads' and their kids to come to school together, have a cooked breakfast, and listen to an inspirational thinker. Towards the end of Term Two we celebrated books and reading in a number of ways. The library was turned into an enchanted garden surrounded by books for sale, provided by Scholastic. We raised an amazing $1806.42. The money raised through the sale of the books will be used to improve the library and ensure this is a place that fosters wonder.
